Sink your teeth into these chewy, chocolaty, moist, delicious Easter Egg Brownie Pops!
Many of you are quite familiar with the queen of cake pops, Bakearella. If you aren’t then you are missing out on some baking genius!!!I’ve never tried to make any cake pops but I did make a pan of brownies and I thought, why not?! It’s got to work!
So here we go on an another experimental baking adventure!
Start with a pan of brownies. You need these to be under baked and gooey. Do not make “cake style” brownies.
I didn’t under bake mine enough so I needed to cut off all those stiff edges.
(I’m sure you’ll find something to do with the edges!!)
Cut a large square of brownie, press and shape it into an egg shape
Insert a paper lollypop stick into the egg brownies and place in freezer for at least 15 minutes.
Freezing helps the stick harden to the brownie.
Melt your color choice of candy melts in the microwave, stir until smooth.
Then dip and swirl your cold brownie pop in the hot candy melts.
You may have to reheat your candy melts several times to keep the candy smooth and flowing.
Place the candy coated brownie egg pops into a block of Styrofoam to set up.
To add detail, simply dip a tooth pick into the hot candy melts and add dots or lines to your eggs,
a few at a time, and quickly apply your candy decorations.
Get creative with your decorating.
These Easter Egg Brownie Pops are oh so decadent and delicious!
They make a great party favor or treat for your guests!
Make Easter Egg Brownie Pops part of your Easter tradition.
